For large furniture (sofas, dressing tables), delivery is limited to addresses with accessible entryways (elevator or ground-floor access preferred); additional fees apply for difficult deliveries (e.g., narrow staircases).

Order Tracking & Delivery Updates
- Small Items: After shipping, you will receive an email with a tracking number and direct link to the courier’s website to monitor delivery status.
- Large Furniture: We will send a delivery scheduling email 3–5 business days before processing completion, allowing you to select a convenient time slot. You will also receive a phone call from the delivery team 24 hours before arrival. For customized items, we send production update emails (e.g., "Sofa Upholstery Completed," "Dressing Table Mirror Installed").
- You can view your order status by logging into your account on our website. If delivery is delayed by more than 3 business days, or if you have questions about scheduling, contact our customer service team immediately for assistance.
Shipping & Delivery Notes
- Furniture Assembly: White-glove delivery includes professional assembly, unpacking, and removal of packaging materials (at your request).
- Package Inspection: For large furniture, inspect the item for damage (scratches, dents, torn fabric) before signing the delivery receipt. Note any damage on the receipt and take photos, then contact us within 24 hours to initiate a replacement.
- Holiday Delays: During peak seasons (Black Friday, Christmas, New Year), delivery timelines may be delayed by 2–3 business days. We recommend placing orders early to avoid delays.
Terms & Conditions
Order Submission & Confirmation
- Placing an order and completing payment on our website constitutes a binding sales contract under U.S. contract law.
- For customized furniture (e.g., custom upholstery sofas, personalized dressing tables), we will send a design confirmation email with 3D renderings or fabric swatches within 2 business days of your order. Production will only begin after we receive your written approval.
- We reserve the right to cancel orders in the following cases:
- Insufficient inventory or product discontinuation.
- Pricing errors due to website technical issues.
- Invalid or incomplete shipping/billing information, or inaccessible delivery addresses.
- Suspected fraudulent transactions (e.g., stolen credit cards).
- Failure to confirm customization details within 10 business days.
- Cancelled orders will be fully refunded within 3 business days. For customized orders cancelled after production has started, a 30% production fee will be deducted from the refund.
Product Information & Liability
- Product descriptions, specifications (e.g., sofa dimensions, dressing table weight capacity, shim thickness), and images are for reference only. Minor variations (e.g., fabric color shades, wood grain patterns) are not considered defects as long as products meet CPSC safety standards.
- All furniture sizes are listed in U.S. standard measurements (inches/feet). We are not liable for dissatisfaction caused by incorrect room measurement submissions or personal style preferences.
- We are not responsible for damages caused by improper use (e.g., overloading sofa weight capacity, using furniture shims for non-furniture purposes, machine-washing dry-clean-only slippers) or unauthorized modifications (e.g., painting dressing table surfaces, cutting sofa legs).
User Obligations
- Provide true, accurate, and complete information when placing an order (including room dimensions and delivery access notes). You are responsible for delivery delays or failures caused by incorrect information.
- Do not resell our products for commercial purposes without our prior written authorization (except for authorized retailers or interior design firms with a wholesale agreement).
- Comply with all U.S. laws and regulations regarding the purchase and use of our products.
- Refrain from fraudulent activities (e.g., false defect claims, repeated returns of used furniture). We reserve the right to refuse service to customers who violate these policies.
Intellectual Property Rights
- All content on our website (product images, descriptions, logos, furniture design sketches) is protected by U.S. copyright and trademark laws and is owned by Homy Chic Furnishings or its authorized licensors.
- You may download or save website content for personal non-commercial use only. Unauthorized copying, modification, distribution, or reproduction of any content for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by U.S. law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., inconvenience, lost use of furniture, additional costs due to delayed delivery) arising from the purchase or use of our products, provided the products meet safety and quality standards.
- Our total liability for direct damages (e.g., defective products) shall not exceed the purchase price of the affected item.
- We are not liable for order delays or failures caused by force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, wood shortages, shipping carrier strikes) beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, we will offer affected customers the option of a refund or order modification.
Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes arising from the purchase or use of our products shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation between you and our customer service team.
- If negotiation fails, either party may initiate legal proceedings in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, USA.
- These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
